Recording at Crosscut Gospel Studio
    Your part-

    1. Pray-that your music will glorify God, and that God will use your music
    to stir the hearts of the listeners.
    2. Prepare-it is very important that you prepare both spiritually and
    physically to work 10-20 hours on vocals/music...be prepared before you
    arrive.
    3. Choose-the right kind of music-music that is lifting up the name of
    Jesus!
    4. Try to use original songs...or songs of public domain.
    Royalties for "owned" songs can become expensive...
    Current rate is 9.1 cents per song per copy plus about
    15.00 per song(one time fee to register) to be paid by musicians/group
    recording to one of the companies that handle the fees and licensing
    such as: the harry fox agency-(212)834-0100 mon-fri 9-6 (harryfox.com)
    Lists of songs in public domain can be found at bmi.com,ascap.com and
    others.
    5. Please understand,you must have proof of song rights(paid fees for
    use of songs that are owned)in hand
    before recording if not of public domain or original.
    ...not paying for use amounts to same thing as stealing and God won't
    bless it!

    Our part-

    1. To work in a timely manner to record the best we can in the name of
    Jesus!
    2. We will try to provide musicians/extra vocals if possible and/or needed.
    3. Will allow use of all equipment/instruments we have.
    4. Will work for donation only...pay only what you want to.
    5. Materials will be at cost...(cd's,ink,paper,cases,etc.)
    6. Remember,crosscut gospel studio cannot be liable for
    royalties,accidents,injuries or loss of time. So,try and be prepared to
    glorify God and Jesus!
